How can a wellness company play it smart?
In this case study, I performed data analysis for Bellabeat, a high-tech manufacturer of health-focused products for women. I analyzed smart device data to gain insight into how consumers are using their smart devices. This analysis will help guide future marketing strategies for the company. Along the way, I performed numerous real-world tasks of a junior data analyst by following the steps of the data analysis process: Ask, Prepare, Process, Analyze, Share, and Act.
1. Ask
1.1 Business task
Bellabeat wants to find new opportunities to grow its business. For that reason, I have analyzed information about its current users utilizing the products offered by the company (smart devices). The mission is to find trends in the data and make useful recommendations for the company.
2 Prepare
The data used in this case study is public, therefore, everyone can access it. In addition, it is provided by FitBit Fitness Tracker, a well-known entity. Due to these reasons, we can conclude the data is credible.
3 Process
3.1 Viewing the datasets
3.2 Cleaning the data set
3.4 Merging the data frames
3.5 Removing some extra variables
4 Analyze
Refer below markdown for coding details and plots.
